TEMPORARY CLASS RELOCATION
Waltz is a slow but fairly complex dance, danced to a 3:4 beat.
Some of the music for Waltz is amongst our favourite songs & can only be Waltzed to.
Your first Waltz course will be enlightening, especially
the first 3 or 4 weeks will cover the foundation steps, but we are confident Waltz will become one of your favourite dances.

Beginners... Basics & practice with revision each week
Improvers... A greater understanding of Waltz, more practice & fun moves to improve your ability on the dance floor.

Starting Sunday, 6th April
With music from the 60's, 70's & even 80's & 90's, you'll love this energetic dance where we mix up classic Jive & Rock'n Roll. Each danced over six beats of music, but 8 steps for Jive & only six for Rock'n Roll. The best of both worlds!

Great fun and body & brain exercise that will keep you young.
Beginners... Basic foundation moves & practice
Improvers... More challenging moves, understanding of movement & all at a bit quicker pace

QUICKSTEP ...see it
TEMPORARY CLASS RELOCATION
..Thurs, 24 April ONLY
Quickstep & Waltz share many of the same moves, so in lots of cases you will only need to apply the Quickstep rhythm to what you already know from Waltz.
​
Quickstep is a fun modern ballroom dance that captures the imagination with the highs & lows of the music ...the light & shade.
Most beginners dance Quickstep too fast, we will be doing our best to slow you down, so don't be afraid to have a go. We try to get people to 'celebrate' the slows to enhance the light & shade and develop the contrast of this beautiful dance.
Fun music too.

8:30 pm Improvers... More challenging moves and links between moves, more practice & fun moves to improve your ability on the dance floor.
